Fernweh already? Come join us for the next, legendary winter adventure! Over 80 companies, 58 Young Rabo members, and more than 2,500 other winter enthusiasts are gearing up for yet another unforgettable week in the snow. Dust off your skis, polish your board, and get ready, because the YR Sports Committee and Frühstuk are teaming up to bring back the YR Ski trip!

For those new to the trip, or for those who were there previous year(s) but lost a memory or two along the way, picture this: You wake up in the heart of the Austrian Alps, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and blue skies. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-timer, there’s something for everyone: take ski lessons, or carve your way down the slopes like a champ. We’re heading to Saalbach-Hinterglemm, offering over 270 km of perfectly groomed pistes: blue, red, black and brown! And if you're up for a little extra adventure, you can even take a day trip to the Kaprun glacier.

Und there’s more than just skiing! Enjoy some of the best après-ski in Österreich, where you can celebrate a successful day with your colleagues, Alpine style. Discover the local cuisine in one of the many atmospheric mountain huts, cuddle goats at the Goaβstall, or one of the countless other après-ski temples. Whether you're into full-on party mode, or all-day ski and chill mode: Saalbach-Hinterglemm has it all.

If you’re done for the day or if the snow quality is not perfect, don’t worry! This year we have a surprise for you: we are again staying in one of Hinterglemm’s most luxurious hotels, Alpen-Karawanserai. It will be a tough choice between sliding down the slopes or relaxing in their amazing spa.

How do I join?

• Sign up between January 27th and February19th 
• As mentioned above: the official registration period has already passed. This means that if you subscribe now, you will automatically be an official participant and you will have to pay the full application fee of €795. Moreover, the cancellation and no-show policy is also effective immediately for you (no period of unsubscribing without any costs).

The Deal – for €795 you will get: 

• 4 days and 4 nights (14-18 March) in one of the premium hotels in Saalbach-Hinterglemm; Alpen-Karawanserai! Rooms will be shared by 2 to 4 people. Roommate preferences can be provided.
  • Breakfast is included at the hotel.
  • Access to the wunderschöne spa is included.
• A 3 day ski-pass (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) for the entire area, including the Kaprun Glacier. It is possible to book a 4th day for a reduced fee.
• At least 2 dinners to regain strength from the intense day on the slopes and in the après ski.
• Legendary après ski & Frühstuk party after party that will leave you atemlos.
• One more pre party organised in the Netherlands to get to know your fellow Young Rabo snow angels (drinks at own costs).
• A unique YR program that we’re currently finetuning. It may include a surprise, that ends with odel.

Extras for your own wallet

Frühstuk offers plenty of comfortable extras during the trip, but these are not included in the base price and will be at your own expenses:

• A ski-pass for an extra day of skiing (day of arrival) can be booked for a reduced fee.
• Equipment rental (or you can of course bring your own).
• Ski lessons, together with fellow intercompany travellers (small groups, guaranteed Dutch or English speaking teachers).
• Some good ski/snowboard gear deals through the organizing partners.

Travel

This year, transportation from (home) the Netherlands to Saalbach-Hinterglemm and back is entirely up to you and is not included in the trip price. You can choose any travel option that suits you best, whether that’s by car, train, bus, bike, or even langlaufen.

We’ve made this change deliberately to give you more freedom, comfort, and flexibility. In previous years, the group bus trip received consistent complaints about limited options and lack of comfort. So this time, you’re in control: travel when and how you want, and tailor the journey to your own needs. Just keep in mind that you’ll cover the costs yourself.

About the Price

You might notice the price is higher than the previous year. That’s because we don't get any YR budget this year for the winter sport. BUT we still arranged a more comfortable package. this time, with an extra night in the hotel. Even though this trip is fully self-funded, you don’t have to worry!!  We (winter sport committee) are doing everything we can to make this an unforgettable experience—one for the books!

Cancellation and no-show

• If for some incomprehensible reason you decide to cancel your secured spot, you will always pay a cancellation fee of 25 euros to cover for our budget and effort.
• If you are able to find a replacement for your cancellation, then the fee will remain 25 euros. If nobody is able to join anymore. You have to pay the full application fee of 795 euros next to the fee of 25 euros.
• The participation fee is due within the week you subscribe. Of course we can talk about it if this overvals you and you need a bit more time

Last but least: are you not a Skier or Snowboarder? No Problem!

This year, Frühstuk is introducing something brand new: the Winter Program! This curated experience is perfect for non-skiers who still want to enjoy the magic of the mountains and the fun of a YR trip. Choose from a variety of amazing activities like:

• Boozy Brunch @ Genuss Hoch
• High Wine @ Schwarzacher
• …and many more!

You’ll be able to select a personalized package with daily activities of your choice. How fantastic is that?
